It guides everything we do. We believe in its power to foster good will among all, and we strive to prove it every day in our relationships with our customers, partners, team members, and community. Our mission is simple…build a new type of cheese company bonded by the brotherhood of cheese.
Our cheese is made the same way since Eric’s Great Grandpa Fred came here from Switzerland in 1919 (though with a bit more fancy equipment). The milk comes in, cheese makers add the cultures, curd is formed, any seasonings are added, cheese is pressed into blocks and allowed to cure, usually for several months (or sometimes years for aged varieties). The cheese is then cut and wrapped, labeled, and shipped to your door.
None of our products are ever processed or artificial in any way. Just good, old fashioned Wisconsin cheese. Milk is sourced from local family farms who care. Seasonings are always natural and simple, never artificial.
We hate robotic, impersonal customer service, so we aim to be its antithesis. We are here for any question you have and we love nothing more than a happy, satisfied customer! We never outsource customer service or take shortcuts here.
I bought three Rhapsodies. One was perfect, thick and square. The other two were much thinner and had corners missing. Looked like someone took a bite from each one. I complained and was given a refund for one. I didn’t want a refund! I wanted two more blocks like the first one. I planned to give them as gifts.
Hi Linda - Thanks for reaching out to us! The Rhapsody is a little tricky on our end. It's a very crumbly cheese that does not cooperate with our slicers like our other cheeses do. We weigh each cheese to make sure that all are at least 5 oz. as listed on the package, but do allow many to be bigger as a bonus for our customers! I hope this helps as an explanation. We hope you continue to order this tasty cheese! - Eric
If I could give 10 stars, I would. My first order was large because I wanted to try several items. Everything is AMAZING!!! The Rhapsody will make you want to slap someone. It’s divine.
I received Rhapsody as part of a Christmas present last year. It was a few weeks before I got around to trying it and I can’t believe I waited so long! This cheese is wonderful. It’s sharp in the best way. I paired it with crackers and some cherry lavender jam - a new favorite combo.
Every year I ponder what to get our siblings for Christmas. I had an ah-ha moment when I stumbled upon the Cheese Brothers website! I ordered gift boxes for our siblings and our kids in-laws, and we received enthusiastic thank yous from them all. My brother was so excited about the Charcuterie Gift box he received, that he immediately purchased gift boxes those on his own Christmas list! It might be cheesy, but now that I’ve found a gift people love, I will order every year. Thank you for making my Christmas shopping so much easier Cheese Brothers!
This was a gift and was thoroughly enjoyed
